“It’s saying: ‘Hello. Hello. My name is Keeto. I can talk. I can talk. I’m a talking bird. Pretty bird, pretty bird. I’m a pretty bird,” said Aimi. “And then it says, ‘Seeds, seeds. Keeto likes seeds.’”
Connor laughed. “Give the big green talking bird some seeds, Aimi. Maybe it will stop talking.”
“Oh, I like to hear it talk,” said Aimi.
“Well, have fun talking to the big green talking bird,” said Connor. “And be sure to give it some seeds!”
“I’m having fun at the Bird Zoo,” said Aimi. “Have fun at the beach. And talk to a
seagull!”
“I will,”
said Connor. “Bye.”
Aimi gave the candy red cell phone back to Grami. “I like cell phones,” said Aimi. “I can talk to my friends anywhere. If there is cell
reception,” Aimi said, practicing the word reception. Aimi started to ask Grami if they could buy more seeds for the big green bird but stopped when she heard
another sound. Aimi listened carefully.
