“A world traveler is a person who visits other parts of our world,” said Grami.
“I’d like to be a world traveler,” said Aimi.
“You soon will be,” said Grami. “After your trip next year to Japan, you’ll be a world traveler, too.”
Aimi smiled. “I’ll be a world traveler, too,” she said. “I like that.”
“Can we call Connor in the Philippines and talk to him at the party?” asked Aimi.
“That would be a little difficult,” said Grami, “because the Philippines are in a different time zone. The time there is not the same as it is here. Connor would be sound asleep. But we can take pictures on the cell phone and Connor can see those when he gets home.”
