“No one is answering, Grami,” Aimi said, as she ended the call.
“Just leave a message,” suggested Grami. “The twins will hear it when they return home.”
“Okay. I’ll call again and this time I’ll leave a message,” said Aimi.
“Good idea,” said Grami.
When the voice-mail beep sounded Aimi said, “Hello. This is Aimi. I am calling to répondez s’il vous plait. Thank you for your invitation. Grami says I can come to your party.” Then Aimi ended the call.
