“Let’s go to the park with that huge jungle gym. I like to climb on a jungle gym. Could we go there tomorrow? Could we?”
“I think that’s a good idea,” said Grami. “In addition to the jungle gym there are swings and a merry-go-round and teeter-totters. There are lots of things to do at that park.”
“And there are picnic tables, too,” said Aimi. “I can help you make sandwiches for lunch. We can pack them in the brown wicker basket and put it in the trunk of the car. Climbing on a jungle gym makes me hungry.”
“That’s a good idea, too,” said Grami. “You are full of good ideas today, Aimi.”
“I have another good idea,” said Aimi. “Let’s invite Toni and Tad to come with us. I always have fun with the twins.”
“That makes three good ideas,” said Grami. “One, to go on an adventure at the
park with the huge jungle
gym. Two, to pack a picnic
lunch and take it with us in the
brown wicker basket. And
three, to invite your friends,
Toni and Tad, to come with
us.”
“I’d like to invite their
cousin, Connor, too,” said
Aimi. “But Connor is on another trip with his parents. May I call Tad and Toni now and invite them to go on this adventure with us tomorrow?”
