The members of the Carrousels of Houston

have not met in person since the fall of 2020 when chapter members
gathered for an outdoor wine tasting! However, we have since mastered the virtual
connection, so we can meet, greet and conduct business as usual.

The Carrousels of Houston did not allow the pandemic to keep us at home.
Our Sister to Sister news includes travel, retirements, engagements
and weddings, Carrakids, grandchildren
and great grandchildren.

We had a gift exchange organized by the
chapter’s social committee. Names were
pulled virtually, and each Carrousel was
presented with a gift from their “secret”
Carrousel. Everyone had a blast because
it allowed members to see each other
when presents were delivered to
members’ front doors during
the holiday season.

Carrousel Brenda Aldridge and Carrafella Harry were

looking forward to traveling to NYC to hear their grandson
perform with his high school choir at Carnegie Hall.

Once again, Covid-19 thwarted their plans. Instead, they had to reminisce
about a previous visit to the Big Apple when they met the late B. Smith.

Determined to remain busy in retirement, Carrousel Brenda
has been licensed to close on home mortgages.

Carrousel Brenda’s chapter meeting was held at Morton’s Steak House,

Houston and we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a champagne toast
