OUR 2021 PROGRAM YEAR LEFT US

             “ZOOMED OUT!”

We were still uncomfortable meeting in person, so we decided to remain on
zoom for our meetings but opted not to stress out over ideas for gift boxes
and themed on-line meetings. We had so many great themed on-line
meetings in 2020 we felt we’d outdone ourselves and were left without
new ideas. With that said, we truly enjoyed using our on-line zoom
meetings to just chit chat, catch up and share what was
            happening in our lives.

This approach proved to be very fulfilling
            and brought us
            even closer.

During COVID we developed an active text chain where we share
good news with each other, birthday wishes, uplifting prayers
when needed, current events, Netflix binge-worthy suggestions, etc.
We decided this was one of the positives of COVID and agreed to
continue sharing in this way. With that said, we are looking
forward to our 1st in person meeting in 2 years later this month!

We are happy to share that 2021 brought great news

                                                                 from some of our members

 Newew CARROUSEL STACY REED MEVS

                                      RECEIVED A JOB OFFER AT
                                      BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL
                                            AND HAS RELOCATED

TO HER HOMETOWN OF ST. LOUIS.

York This is the same hospital where she did her residency
 York
training and the same hospital where her father,
the late Carrafella Jonathan Reed practiced.
She has transferred to the St. Louis chapter where
her mother, Carrousel Bettye Reed, is a long-time
member. This is great news for Stacy and the St. Louis
Carrousels: we are so happy and proud of her,
                                                  but we already miss her!
