Students, teachers, and troopers alike all had a
great time… and, of course, no respectable hockey
game would be complete without Blades, the
Bruins’ mascot, joining in on the fun! When the
game was over, the street hockey equipment was
donated to the school for use in its phys-ed and
sports programs.
We at the Massachusetts State Police
would like to thank the Boston Bruins Foundation
and National Grid for making this fundraising
opportunity possible. We are particularly proud of
Trooper Katie Downey shares goaltending duties
with Blades those members of the Department who personally
that end, the Bruins Foundation supplied hockey gave of their time and effort to raise money for a
equipment for a friendly hockey game between cause that is certainly near and dear to all of our
students and teachers of the Claypit Hill School in hearts. We would also like to thank all of the
Wayland and MSP members. first responder teams who participated in this
fundraising endeavor, the result of which was a
grand total of $130,000.00 donation to the 100
Club of Massachusetts.
Finally, we would like to thank the 100
Club of Massachusetts for all that they have done
and continue to do in support of first responder
