second! There isn't anything I wouldn't have given you. There was no price too high to pay for what we witnessed.
But it didn't cost me anything. It didn't have to. Ginger was able to give Johnny that priceless look for free.
Wow.
It was a miracle.
I turned to the officers and said, “I know you guys deal with a
lot. I know you deal with horrible and miserable people and situations all the time. I just want to thank you for this. You did something wonderful. Thank you so much. Thank you.”
The police officers smiled and nodded to me and my dad and then left the house.
I turned back to my dad. He was as happy as anyone could ever
be.His voice sounded as clear as it ever had before. Loud. Crisp. Perfect! He said, “Johnny loves Ginger!”
Ginger barked.
“Ginger loves Johnny!”
If there was anything in the world that was every 100% true, it
was certainly obvious to anyone and everyone that Johnny Loved Ginger and Ginger Loved Johnny.
