Subject + be + going to + infinitive (v1)
We use be going to to talk about something we have decided to do (an intention).
She is going to watch the next programme.
I am going to spend six weeks in Japan.
Tom and John are going to do an experiment this afternoon.
In informal speech “going to” is often pronounced “gonna”
