CHAPTER 10
What differences are there
between a private cloud and
a public cloud?
A
private cloud is that in which technologies are applied of cloud
computing but following the guidelines of a private model, in which
is the department itself of the company's IT, which, through the
technology of one or more providers, offers a service in the cloud specific
for the company.
Keep in mind that the private cloud
can be hosted in the company, so
that the IT department is the one
that keeps driving the
infrastructure; or it can be
managed by a service provider,
which adds outsourcing of the
management of the technological
infrastructure of the cloud to an
MSP, thus downloading to the IT
department, that can focus its
efforts on other tasks of value to the
business.
