Consciousness, is what constitutes a truly religious and lofty personality. When you “mourn” with wisdom, devotion, and profound humility, you will experience Divine comfort. As you yearn for God- realization and direct your self-effort towards that attainment, there is a response. However, the mystic path is such that the response from God does not always seem to come quickly. Sometimes you may have to travel a long distance, on a rough road that does not seem to terminate until all your patience has been exhausted. Then, nally, assistance comes from the Divine Hand and you realize that every step you took along the rough road was a form of a blessing.
If you seek Divine union, but still continue leaning upon the objects of the world, God waits to respond. But when you realize that all supports of the world are illusory and you hold onto God alone as your support, then you are comforted. God begins to reveal His grace and provide you with a comfort that cannot be obtained anywhere in the world.
You begin to experience the nectarine sweetness of Divine Presence and feel the Divine Hand guiding all your movements through life. You discover that you do not have to worry about anything, because everything is handled very intelligently by God. Ultimately, when Enlightenment is attained, you gain absolute freedom from grief, restlessness,
