be like thinking about someone who is supremely beloved—the essence of all beauty, joy, warmth, humor and acceptance.
This is the implication of this commandment. It does not mean, however, that you should stop repeating the name of God when your mind is clouded or your feelings are contracted. Rather, repeating the name at those times can be a most effective method of bringing the mind back to an elevated state. The commandment is intended to glorify the name of God and to encourage you to use it in any bene cial way.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. In it, thou shalt not do any work, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maid servant, nor thy cattle nor the stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days, the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them— and he rested on the seventh day; wherefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it. (KJV Exodus 20: 8—11)
