Today, in spite of the brilliant discoveries made by science and unimaginable technological advancements, there is a
continuing tendency towards violence, stress and insecurity everywhere in the world. On one side, man has proven his unimaginable brilliance through scienti c explorations into the mysteries of matter, while on the other side, his unconscious mind and his heart continue to be as uncultured as they were during the dark ages of the past.
This being the case, human progress can be compared to what happens when a galloping horse speeds towards the west, while his ignorant rider is all the while seated towards the east!
