his destination, he is actually moving further and further away from it!
While human beings are awed by the extremely powerful weapons that they have developed to express their anger and hatred, they have very little insight into what direction this is taking them. They do not understand how to sublimate negative sentiments and how to experience inner love and tranquility, thus uniting themselves with all humanity and all creation. People are dazzled by the amazing power of the nuclear bomb, but they are unaware of a far greater power that lies within their own reach—the power of the Spirit that can be awakened and unfolded in the stillness of their own heart. This is illustrated by the inspirational candle of Christ still burning today. Centuries have rolled by, and yet the power within the heart of Lord Jesus represented by His tender hands folded in prayer and devotion continues to work wonders. The dynamic forces of Divine Love emanating from His Being continue to inspire faith, courage and undaunted heroism in all those who have spiritual sensitivity.
