of loving God “with all thy soul” by discovering the true nature of the soul as the Absolute Self. Dhyana Yoga (the Yoga of Meditation) gives an insight into loving God “with all thy mind” by the practice of meditation and samadhi (superconsciousness).
As you practice devotion, meditation and wisdom in your daily life, the path of Karma Yoga (the Yoga of action) spontaneously unfolds as you ful ll your responsibilities as an individual in society. As you advance, this expresses itself through acts of sel ess service of humanity. You discover a level of Universal Love that enables your heart to realize your neighbor and even the entire world as your very self. Sel ess service puri es the heart and brings about expansion within your consciousness, helping you advance on the paths of devotion, wisdom and meditation. In turn, as you advance along these paths, you are able to practice Karma Yoga with ever increasing effectiveness.
The teachings of Lord Jesus have thus indicated a glorious blend of devotion, meditation, wisdom and action. These are the same teachings that are taught by every religion and spiritual movement of the world from ancient times. Although these teachings are delivered through different languages and rituals, the message is the same: To attain Liberation—the Kingdom of Heaven—you must love God with all your heart, your entire mind must be captured by
