Christmas Wishes by Dad
With Christmas just around the corner it's time to start thinking of daddy-o!
Skip the same-old-thing, though. He’s got enough ties and enough mugs - but he can never have enough die
casts, models or airbrushing to work on or to collect!
Start him off with a nice and easy plane model kit. With easy instructions and only a few pieces (100-250) they
make for a great first time modeler! To get started all you need is the model kit itself some paint to give it
that life-like look, a few tools like a knife or sprue cutters, a file, some paint brushes, and some glue. With just
these few things he can start building the plane of his dreams!
If he's already a modeling expert then get, more difficult kits to challenge and push his skills to the next level!
There are a wide range of kits in all skill levels and companies like: Tamiya, Dragon, Italeri, Revell, and
Academy just to name a few! Or maybe just a few extra supplies like masking tape (liquid masking tape as
well) fine point and curved pliers and/or tweezers.
Along with the modeling look at a fine line of airbrushing for both beginners and experts. Look for both single
action and dual action kits, just what he would need to paint his models any way he sees fit!
And for the dad that’s looking to build his collection, look for a stock of die cast plane models ranging from
1/24, 1/25, 1/18, 1/32, and a few other odd scales for all collectors. Maisto and Burago to name of a couple.
