A.V. Roe Canada Aviation Museum The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program trains
Unit 20, 229 Avro Lane learners to maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft to
Calgary, Alberta ensure that aircraft meet Transport Canada’s
Canada, T3Z 3S5 standard of safety and performance.
Once a graduate obtains their Aircraft Maintenance
Engineer Category M licence, their work
opportunities and wages increase significantly.
Employment is normally steady year-round and
shift work is common. The AME licence is a
federally-issued document and is fully transferable
across Canada. The earning potential is $40,000 –
$80,000/yr.
Established as an Approved Training Organization
under Transport Canada regulations, students
enrolled in the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
training program benefit from our partnerships with
the following aerospace and defense companies:
