How much do I receive for a referral bonus and when?
• You will receive $2,500 for a sales hire and $1,000 for a non exempt hire. You can expect to
receive your referral bonus in your paycheck within 60 days of your referral’s start date. In
order to be considered for a referral bonus, all referrals must be submitted through Workday
before the candidate applies, and meet program eligibility.

Can Regional Managers refer candidates to other positions?
• Yes. You can refer candidates to your own position, but will not get paid out.

What is a passive candidate and how does the interview process differ from those seeking
active employment?

• Someone who is currently working and happy in their role. They are not actively looking for new
careers, but are open to seeing what opportunities are available. According to LinkedIn, passive
candidates represent approximately 70% of the workforce and would entertain new job
opportunities. They may not express the same excitement as those actively seeking Stryker.
They might not have a great answer for ‘Why Stryker?’. They are not unhappy with their current
work, so we need to sell them on opportunities with Stryker throughout the recruitment
process – while also evaluating them.
