On May 16 the Dallas Chapter participated with the March for Babies March of Dimes walk in Dallas.
Children’s Defense Fund
To succeed, children need stable homes, quality health care, ample nutritious food, good schools, safe
neighborhoods, and access to resources and opportunities that enable them to reach their potential.
But the fact is that for too many of our children, these basic building blocks for success are out of
reach.
At Area Work Day 2019, the Dallas Chapter along with the South Central Region gave over $12,000
in monetary donations to the Children’s Defense fund and the Teens provided dorm room like
packages to teens to a Freedom School sponsored by Area Work Day.
