Hello Team,
My appreciations for your contribution to the
START STOP KEEP initiative.

Purpose? I firmly believe in what the great
philosopher Socrates said, “Weak minds
discuss people, average minds discuss
events, but strong minds discuss IDEAS”.
And, I also believe that for great ideas, you
have to bank upon your entire team because

ANYONE can come up with something brilliant!

Responses? Some of you responded immediately, which set the ball rolling for the
rest of the team to come up with innovative ideas for Power Technique India to be
even better. Although I had requested for only one point in each category, it was
heartening to see that many of you gave me more than one point to work upon.

What Next? I have already kick-started actions on some of your ideas, and I can
assure you that all the workable ones will be implemented during the course of
the year.

An example of a ‘Best Idea’ in the START category: “Cross functional exposure
should START for the entire team. An hour in a week for a few months is probably
sufficient. To explain better, for example, if I want an exposure to the finance
function, I should be able to request the BC team for their time, to let me know
what the BC function entails, explain financial terms etc. Similarly, the marketing
team on forecasting, inventory management etc. This would help groom the
internal team for cross functional roles. Here time investment from both the
person giving the cross functional exposure and the person receiving it, is of
course required”.

Suggestion: Never lose such an opportunity to contribute. Some of you did not
revert, and I would term that a wasted chance. There is never a wrong or a right
suggestion. Human beings are born with a super computer - our BRAIN. Shouldn’t
we challenge this “super-computer” to the best of our abilities?
YES, we should! Therefore, whenever you get a chance, SPEAK UP without any
hesitation!
Because, I am always LISTENING…
