THIS KNOT GATHERS AND BINDS TOGETHER
ASSORTED LONG OBJECTS
Poles, paddles, oars, and any long objects (including long-
handled tools such as brooms and rakes) are gathered
closely together and bound with the pole hitch. To prevent
creating an awkward armload, use two of these knots, one
toward each end of the long objects.

Arrange the cord beneath the long objects in an S
or Z shape.
