Bring  the  ends  of  the  rope  over  the  objects  and
                    through  the  opposite  bights,  as  shown  in  the

                    photograph.




                   The pole hitch not only works for ease of carrying but also
                for storing long objects. Note that the pole hitch is actually a

                combination of a hitch with a final securing knot to complete
                the binding. This knot is easier to manage when the length

                of rope or cord being used is just long enough to do the job.
