               Nondiscrimination Statement
               In its efforts to promote nondiscrimination, Rio Grande City CISD does not discriminate on
               the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, or disability in providing education
               services, activities, and programs, including CTE programs, in accordance with Title VI of
               the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972;
               and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), as amended, which
               incorporates and expands upon the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
               of 1973, as amended.
               The following district representatives have been designated to coordinate compliance with
               these legal requirements:

               constitute  a  contract  between  the  middle  school  and  any  student,  prospective  student,
               agency of the local, state, or federal government, or any other person or legal entity of any
               and every nature whatsoever.

               RGCCISD  middle  schools  hereby  reserves  and  retains  the  right  to  amend,  alter,  change,
               delete, or modify any of the provisions of this handbook at  any time, from time to time,
               without notice, in any manner that the administration, or the School Board of Trustees of
               the Rio Grande City CISD deem to be in the best interest of the district.

               Parents and students are required to acknowledge that they have received and read the
               Handbook by returning the enclosed form located in the back part of this handbook.
