The  Entrepreneurship  cell,  VJTI  plays  a  pivotal  role  in  promoting
                                           entrepreneurship amongst students. It is an organization created by
                                           and for the students to help transform innovative ideas into path-
                                           breaking establishments!

                                           Startup Networking Conference:
                                            The annual flagship startup event of E-Cell, VJTI, SNC 2016 was a
                                           National Level Event  held in VJTI Campus, Mumbai, where Startups,
                                           Mentors, Investors and Corporates from across India came together
                                           to  transact  business,  pitch  for  funding,  share  experiences,  get
          mentoring and showcase innovations. Startups, angel and venture capital investors, mentors and startup
          coaches and speakers came together on one platform for two days of high energy interactions and exciting
          sessions. The Fest provided a showcase of the emerging startup ecosystem of Mumbai, presence of incubation
          (proposed on VJTI campus, Matunga, Mumbai).

          Start-Up VJTI campaign:
          The campaign is broadly classified into three major sectors.
          1. Team Ideation
                 To peruse current ecosystem in VJTI, tocumulate from students, to mentor students to bring out the
                 untapped potential, to host various workshops, to associate with alumni for their startups and ideas,
                 to create a revenue model for the actual proposition
          2. VJTI Mentors
                 Taking  over  campaign  after  idea  generation  workshops,  arranging  brainstorming  session  with
                 mentor panel, assigning mentor to each team/each idea, keeping track of each team throughout
                 mentoring, getting mentors on board from VJTI Alumni Association.
          3. Public Relations
                 Working on PRs for conducting seminars, PR for idea generation and prompting workshops, help
                 mentor team to get array of mentors, interviews and conferencing with CEOs.

          START-UP WEEKEND (PART OF SVC)
          Start-Up   Weekend  is  an  initiative   of  the
          Entrepreneurship Cell, VJTI, providing an opportunity
          to  the  students  of  the  VJTI  to  network  with  the
          passionate leaders of the corporate world and emerging
          entrepreneurs by organizing workshops, seminars and
          intra college events. Start-Up Weekend aims at fostering
          and improving various skill sets of entrepreneurship as
          a  whole.  The  weekend  brings  together  our  students,
          alumni,  entrepreneurs,  government  officials  and
          academia.
