That may seem like a lot of information, but don’t worry. You too, will find, through trial and error, a routine that makes your life less stressful, more productive, and easy. Over time it will become second nature, just like breathing correctly! Once you can develop this tool, you’ll have more control over your life because you already know what you're going to do and when you're going to do it. You will also notice that these steps will suddenly just happen, without thinking, and your mind will be free for other important moments in your life.
One of the things that first stood out to me when I made it to the big leagues was the consistency of the routines each player had. It’s like they were machines, or robots, just going about their day. And they did this everyday, in every city. I was impressed, and a bit intimidated too. Big league players thrive off of consistency, and routine. I’ve been teammates with Cy Young Award winners, All Stars, Gold Glove & Silver Slugger Award winners, some really talented athletes, and the one thing they all have in common is consistency. They have a routine and stick to it, and their mindset never changes, even when their play does. The most successful athletes can maintain their edge when the going gets tough, and when nothing can stop them.
