Immigration offi cer: Welcome to the County of Sacramento! How are you doing?
Traveler: I’m fi ne Sir, thank you.
Immigration offi cer: Do you have your passport and visa with you? Can I see it?
Traveler: Not a problem, here.
Immigration offi cer: Thank you! Well, Miss Aeriel Takuhi, is it your fi rst time here?
Traveler: No Sir, I’ve been here many times before.
Immigration offi cer: I see, so what brings you here again?
Traveler: I’m off on a business trip, Sir.
Immigration offi cer: And how long would that be?
Traveler: Sir, I’ll be staying for 2 weeks.
Immigration offi cer: Alright, so anybody you knew from here?
Traveler: Yes, business partners.
Immigration offi cer: So, are you going to stay with them?
Traveler: Certainly not Sir, I have a reservation at the Holiday Inn.
Immigration offi cer: Ok then, I hope that you’d enjoy your trip here. You may leave now, here’s
your passport, Madam.
Traveler: Thanks a lot, sir! Good day!

1. Have you ever had any problem with the immigration before?

Sample answer:
Yes, it’s funny that they have mistaken me for another person. However, they apologized to me
at once. It was an honest mistake.

2. The time you had your first encounter with the immigration on your first

airport experience, did you get nervous?
Sample answer:
Yes, I got very nervous that I could barely breathe because I have been hearing stories that the

immigrations are very strict. If they find you suspicious, they will not allow you to board the
plane.

3. Do you consider the strict interrogation in the immigration helpful in the
prevention of terrorist attacks?
