2 . POCUS FEST at West Virginia

POCUS (Point of care Ultrasound) Fest was held on Saturday September 21, 2019 at the
STEPS (David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient
Safety) at West Virginia University School of Medicine . POCUS Fest was cosponsored by the
Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy™, part of the nonprofit Inteleos™ family of
certification alliances. The POCUS Certification Academy offers POCUS Clinical Certificates

and Specialty Certifications assessments designed to independently validate POCUS clinical
proficiency.

POCUS Fest was a half-day immersive ultrasound experience designed to introduce the at-
tendees to using POCUS in their clinical practice . Sessions included focused ultrasound scan-
ning on cardiac, abdominal, simulated first trimester obstetrics, lung, deep vein thrombosis
(DVT), and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) .

3 . 美国麻醉学杂志论坛在中国成功召开 刘艳红 蒋延东报道

2019年4月12-14日，在樱花盛开的季节，中国医师协会麻醉学医师分会（CAA）年会在美丽的青
岛成功召开。CAA是中国麻醉、重症监护和疼痛医学领域重要的学术团体之一，致力于中国麻醉医师
教育培训、学术交流及学科发展。在过去的5年中，CAA年会的参会人数持续增长，2019年会注册人
数10025人，参会人数15000余人，是中国麻醉学界的一次盛会。

作为CAA国际交流与合作的重要举措之一，今年是第二次在CAA年会上举办美国麻醉学杂志论坛。
本届论坛上，首先为获得美国麻醉学杂志优秀论文奖的两位中国作者颁发了奖章。获奖的两位作者分
别是武汉协和医院陈向东教授和武汉同济医院张咸伟教授。之后美国麻醉学杂志编辑部的专家针对论
文同行评审中常见的问题、统计学评审方法与技巧及撰写论文中须注意的问题与参会代表进行广泛的
交流。

为进一步推动美国麻醉学杂志与CAA的交流与合作，CAA现任会长米卫东教授与Dr . Evan D .
Kharasch分别代表CAA和美国麻醉医师协会（ASA）签署了合作协议，期待在定期举办学术论坛的基
础上，两个学术团体之间逐步开展更多的学术交流与合作。我们相信CAA和ASA的合作将对两国乃至
世界麻醉学科的发展产生积极影响。
