WHAT DO THEY DO?
The Farm Service Agency (FSA) serves farmers and ranchers by delivering
effective and efficient agricultural programs. As the County Executive
Director, Darcy manages the local county staff who serve Umatilla County.
In Pendleton, where Darcy’s office is located, they serve a diverse group of
agricultural producers – from apple and cherry orchardists, to potato and
onion farmers. Their program delivery is as diverse as the clientele they
serve. Each day is different, and that challenge is what makes the job so fun.
