      AMERICAS                                             Ghost Ranch: Art Program


           J-TERM





                                                         OVERVIEW





                                                         Part of a joint program with Biology, the New Mexico program
                                                         will take students to the desert Southwest, to stay at the
                                                         famous Ghost Ranch, an education & retreat center located
                                                         in the heart of Georgia O’Keefe country.  Art 124 will explore
                                                         the theory and language of three-dimensional design.
      DETAILS                                            Projects emphasize form, processes and techniques, all
                                                         within the context of the local cultures found in the region.

                                                         Students will live at Ghost Ranch as they study and explore
                                                         Southwest culture, including that of the local Native people,
