Cape Town’s
Students may earn 12 INTR credits through CORE, or may opt to Cape Floral
have 4 of their credits count towards their major, with permission of

status, may put the student behind on overall credits if they do not park that houses

HOUSING & TIMING

Fully furnished apartments located in Cape Town and shared with other CIS interns and students. You
will have a single-occupancy room with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Restaurants, buses and
trains are all within close range. The average commuting time to your internship varies, but you can
expect to take between 20-40 minutes on average, with some placements requiring a longer commute.

This is a 12 week program. If you choose Fall semester, either Session 1 or 2 will fit in your calendar for
the year. However, if you choose Spring, we recommend Spring Session 2 so that you can choose to
complete a J-Term course on campus before you depart. The Spring 2 Session begins in early
February and runs through early May.
