OVERVIEW

Spend a semester taking classes at the second-highest
ranked university in all of Africa, located in a small historic
town of Stellenbosch in the heart of South Africa’s Western
Cape Town province. Not only is the region of Stellenbosch
one of the most beautiful and diverse regions in Africa, but
DETAILS it is also located only 45 minutes from Cape Town, the most
cosmopolitan city in the country.

Requirements & Cap: This program
requires a 2.50 GPA but has no language
requirement as courses are taught in 12-16
English at the U. of Stellenbosch. The credits
program cap is 6 students per year.

Fields of study: In addition to CIS-
sponsored courses, the University offers
coursework in almost every major offered
by Augustana. It is highly recommended
for Africana Studies students but is open
to any major.
