OVERVIEW

Spend the semester at Rikkyo University, one of two
Augustana exchange partners in the heart of Tokyo.
Rikkyo offers intensive immersion in Japanese language
at all levels, including beginner, as well as supplemental
courses in English.

DETAILS

Requirements & Cap: This program requires a 2.5 GPA. No prior study of Japanese is required. The
program cap is 6 students per year. Due to the calendar of Rikkyo University, this program is only
available for Spring Semester and runs April through July.

Fields of Study: Asian Studies, Japanese, with elective courses in other fields.

BUDGET & FEES

Augustana Fees: Augustana tuition applies. Housing is paid
directly to Rikkyo University.

Other Expenses: Airfare, housing on Rikkyo campus, meals,
visa fees & discretionary spending.
Estimated out-of-pocket costs are $8,000, or
$4,000 more than an on-campus semester. v

Financial Aid: All financial aid applies as if on campus.
Augie Choice eligible for juniors
& seniors.
