The Collaboration
My thanks for reviewing this proposal for a Collaboration with and Doctoral Scholarship through Howard University.
I am of the firm belief that one must go beyond "the abstract" or "fanciful ideas" to implement meaningful solutions for development and peace. My 1st degree is in Political Science and Law (University of the West Indies) and I am in Spain at the Universitat Jaume I pursuing my PhD in Equality, Justice and Peace.
I just finished my Masters here and defended my thesis which included an innovation, a platform - Peace House - built on the precepts of Human Rights, Women's Equality and Peace Education.
Arising from this thesis I am proposing a Doctoral thesis which will expand on Systems for Peace - a multidisciplinary platform designed to first measure and holistically transform “cultural, social and political interventions and thereby facilitate harmony, balance and development in any given milieu”.
