1. REPURPOSE UN-USED ASSETS
New revenue opportunities for MDS
THE SOLUTION
• There is an opportunity to use the current underutilized MDS assets such as Centre-based services locations and vehicles to generate additional income for MDS when it is not otherwise in use.
• Transport solutions: there is an opportunity to provide transportation services to the majority of MDS participants where possible, especially for the ones whom use taxi vouchers.

Car pooling
• MDS already own these assets, so any additional income generated from these will be profit.
Running upskilling and training workshops
Day care center
• Participants already use taxis and external transportation, so they will not be opposed to spending the same amount or less if this service was now provided by MDS. Car pooling can provide socialisation opportunities for participants.
• Cancellations: Some participants may cancel because they may not have the money to travel to meetings (MH) and others because there is no accountability. A MDS pick-up and drop service might reduce the number of cancellations.
