About the founder: 1954 I started as a shampoo boy at the John Cornell salon in Southall. 1956 I went
                                                                                                                               to work for French of London Park Lane Mayfair. 1959 I asked for an early call up to do my national
                                                                                                                               service where I trained with the 16th/5th Royal Iniskilling Dragoon Guards before moving to Monty’s
                                                                                                                               8th tank regiment. 1961 After national service John Cornell approached me to manage his son’s new
                                                                                                                               Mayfair salon in conduit street W1. I accepted immediately; everything in the 1960’s to the 1980’s was

                                                                                                                               everything, they created their own clothing and hairstyles to suit the new music phenomenon “PUNK”.
                                                                                                                               Most hairdressers hated the looks and would not have them as clients. I immediately saw the art in it as
                                                                                                                               did my neighbor further down Kings Road Vivian Westwood.



                                                                                                                               1981 I began to sit in on L’Oreal brainstorming meetings. 1983 I Created the professional product
                                                                                                                               Easi Meche for L’Oreal. 2000 I retired after 46 years behind the chair. 2003 I Created the professional
                                                                                                                               product Visi-Colour for Matrix. 2005 I went into digital media and began by becoming the Fellowship
                                                                                                                               for British Hairdressing official photographer. 2006 I created the Fellowships first A4 magazine (Print

                                                                                                                               I was awarded Fellow with distinction. 2011 I met Tanya Hennessey and together we created our own
                                                                                                                               first online digital magazine for hair colourists.


                                                                                                                               2020. After communicating with my old partners, PerfecTress International Limited (Hong Kong) we
                                                                                                                               agreed to work together to create the ultimate hair colour training program. The PerfecTress Colour
                                                                                                                               College London consists of three parts to form the ultimate hair colour training program. All major
                                                                                                                               hair colour brands have approximately 75 colours in their basic hair colour range. However, in the time

                                                                                                                               allowed and the limited supply of hair models there is usually only time to teach just one colour with
