Round seizing: make an eye in the seizing material and then make sure
that you are working against the lay.
Begin by passing the seizing around both parts of the rope, coming up
through the eye, and then continue by making a further ten or so turns
around both parts of the rope. It is important that this is done as tightly as
possible; the aid of a mallet or marline spike is helpful in levering the
seizing material tight after every third or so turn.
