               To calculate the length of rope required, multiply the circumference of the
               object by the number of bights x 1.5 x the number of times followed
               around plus one extra time followed round.


               Turk’s head knot: instead of forming the Turk’s head around an object,
               this decorative knot has been tightened to form a ball.
