6.3 Service Chain in an Organisation
A supply chain has 4 components:
- Manufacturer
- Wholesaler
- Retailer
- Consumer
They form a network to do the following:
- Make goods (manufacturer)
Consumer
- Deliver goods to wholesaler and wholesaler stores them
- wholesaler then delivers those goods to retailers
- retailers sell the goods to consumers
