CULTURE ARE OUR MOST
IMPORTANT ASSETS
November 26, 2018
Dear Colleagues,
I’m pleased to kick off our online 2019 Open Enrollment period with some good news: employee contributions for 2019
will stay at the same rates as 2018.
This is not common in the current climate of rising health costs and we’ve been able to do this for a number of reasons.
One important contributing factor is in the last 12 months you’ve all been actively taking steps to improve your health
by attending wellness exams, consistently taking prescribed medications and therapies, and making your health and
wellness a priority.
This translates into lower insurance premium increases generally and, for Beiersdorf, it means Cigna will not pass on any
premium increase to us for 2019.
To keep up this momentum, 2019 will also see the launch of a comprehensive Wellbeing initiative. We will be sending you
a survey shortly to gather your feedback on a variety of wellness and wellbeing topics. In the meantime, we are piloting
a Mindful Meditation program for all employees in Wilton. Mindful Meditation has been proven to have remarkable effects
on stress, productive sleep, clarity, focus and overall wellbeing. For those outside of Wilton, stay tuned for other ways we
will encourage and incentivize you to make healthy choices too.
Benefits enrollment can seem like one additional administrative chore at a busy time of year. We get it.
It’s probably one of the most important things you can do leading
into the holidays.
By taking the time to review and understand the variety of well- CARE
ness products and services Beiersdorf offers, you’re investing in
your future.
Simply put, your health and wellbeing is everything. When you’re
feeling well — physically, mentally, financially — you can take on
all of life’s joys and challenges.
TRUST SIMPLICITY
Warm regards, CORE VALUES
