SERVING AS ONE 2019-2020
LEADERSHIP
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going to God, got up from the table, took off his outer robe, and tied a towel around himself. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was tied around him. John 13:3-5
Being a leader takes courage, discipline, and determination. The Bible speaks of many wonderful leaders and how God blessed them for their work. Scioto Ridge has been blessed with incredible leadership. These people use their talents and time to serve in a very direct and spiritually deep way. Leaders of Scioto Ridge figuratively take off their outer robes and lead by example.
Leadership Board consists of 12 church members who oversee all areas of the church administration and resources to align with and support our church mission to Seek the Unchurched, Nurture Disciples, and join with Jesus to Transform the World.
Technology Team helps plan for and oversee all the technological needs of the church and staff.
Missions Team members work to create new opportunities for people to share the Good News of Jesus Christ by serving locally, nationally, and globally.
Endowment Team members utilize their gifts and abilities to oversee the growth and use of the Scioto Ridge Endowment Fund. Their work allows Scioto Ridge to provide members and friends of Scioto Ridge a way to make a lasting financial gift to the mission of the church.
Scioto Ridge Legacy Society was created in 2017. The Legacy Society seeks to encourage, thank, and celebrate the ways people have made a long-lasting financial investment in the future of Scioto Ridge.
Finance Team members work to oversee all church finances from budgeting to year-end audits as good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.
In 2019-2020, Leadership Teams will Serve As One by:
• Systematically cultivating and equipping a new generation of leaders
to continually step into leadership roles across the life of the church.
• Implementing “best practices” across the church to assist ministry teams in accomplishing the mission of the church.
• Continually discerning the future of the church and aligning all resources to meet the current and future needs of the community and world.
