Ways to Reduce Air Pollution

Trees play a very
important role in the

environment. They

provide not only food and

shelter, but also oxygen.
Human beings and

animals breathe in

oxygen and breathe out
carbon dioxide. To make

their food, plants take in

carbon dioxide and
produce the oxygen that

we breathe. Any increase

or decrease in the amount
of these gases in the air

will affect the health of

living things. Trees help

to maintain this balance
in the air.
