In some places of Våndävana there are large groves of a single kind
of tree. In other places two or three different kinds of trees grow
together, and in other places there are groves that contain a great
variety of different trees.

amrädikänäà kva ca païcaça yä
ürdhvena çäkhädibhir apy anyünäù
tä nätiriktäù sukha-kåtrimä kià
puñpävalénäm api tädåçäs täù

amra—mango trees; ädikänäm—beginning with; kva—where?; ca—
and; païcaça—with five; yäù—which; ürdhvena—up; çäkhä—branches;
ädibhiù—beginning; api—even; anyünäù—not small; täù—they; na—
not; atiriktäù—surpassing; sukha—easily; kåtrimä—fashioned; kim—
what?; puspa—of flowers; avalénäm—of multitudes; api—also; tädåçäù—
like that; täù—they.

Are any other flowers equal to the mango flowers of Vraja? Where
are trees equal in height to the great five-branched mango trees
growing in Vraja? Even if one were to fashion a great statue of a tree
it would be very difficult to make on as high as these mango trees.

that; täù—they; kuträpi—somewhere; nänä—various; vidha—kinds;
pädapänäm—of trees; vanam—forest; dhané—wealthy; bhütam—having
become; atéva—very; citram—colorful and wonderful; vipakña-dåñöeù—of
one enimical to Kåñëa and His devotees; api—also; duçpraveçam—difficult
to enter.
