they already gave me loss of use of it with the VA. I already have one component in my implant that has been recalled. Of course, the VA doesn't keep track of implants. I found out that the sleeve was recalled by researching it myself, and I had to get the records from the VA hospital to see what the lot numbers were and all that.
I've had it all. I've had spinal blocks, acupuncture, hypnosis, just everything. I live in pain. I am on high doses of Methadone for the pain and it only takes 40-45% of the pain away. On the plus side, it does allow me to function. Usually in the afternoons I lay down for a little while. At night I get two hours here and there of sleep. Like last night I dozed off somewhere around nine, got back up around midnight, was up for a while and then went back to sleep and got back up at four. I have been awake since then. That is pretty typical for me. I am currently on fourteen different medications. They took my Xanax away so now they are having all sorts of other issues. My blood pressure is pretty much all over the place. It used to be stable and normal and now I am on five different medications for that issue alone and they still don't have it under control. They have been doing drug tests on me every two months and they are only supposed to do them every six months. They are apparently doing it to make sure I don't have Xanax in my system. They were just recently in touch with a specialist. I have had to fight for this over this last year. It's been a disaster in regard to medical care from the VA. Before then I was very pleased with the medical care I had received. But this past year has been a nightmare. Trying to get anything done, trying to keep in touch with them about problems I am having, just nothing gets done. I go to Houston for my Psych. Doctor visits and he told me I need to see an internal medicine specialist. My primary care provider, however, will not refer me to one. Finally, I argued with them long enough that that's why the medicine changed and they finally did a consult with an internal medicine specialist concerning my blood pressure. I guess if I keep bugging them about it maybe they'll get something else done.
I often help other Veterans with their claims, spending days and even months addressing issues for them that were either ignored or forgotten by others who 'tried' to help them, either within the VA system or outside of it. I think that Veteran Service Officers are either too lazy or are so
