Headspace is free to download and offers subscriptions priced at $12.99 per month, or $95.88 per year. Headspace also offers lifetime subscriptions for $399.99.
• Calm: Calm’s strength is in audio meditations. Calm offers guided sleep programs, relaxation techniques, daily sessions, and 7-day and 21-day programs. Calm is the second largest meditation application, with over $25M in funding and over 650,000 app downloads. Calm is free to download and offers subscriptions for $12.99 per month, or $59.99 per year. Calm also offers lifetime subscriptions for $299.99
• Google SIY: Google SIY’s offers 2-day mindfulness workshops. Google SIY serves some of the biggest names in business, including American Express, Farmers Insurance, SAP, and Ford. Individuals can also register for workshops for $695.00. • Other applications: Require people to stop what they are doing, open the applica- tion, select a meditation, and complete a guided meditation. Lightflow leverages cognitive science and novel solutions to do what has never been done before: communicate mindfulness visually in the background of other applications. This technology works in the background of any screen activity, meaning users do not need to choose to use Lightflow over another application. Lightflow simply requires one introductory meditation.
