APPLAUSES

LTG Paul A. Chamberlain, military deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial
Management and Comptroller, presents a MG Nathan Towson Medallion to BG Paige M. Jennings,
U.S. Army Financial Management Command commanding general, as BG Rebecca McElwain, Army
Budget Office director of operations and support, joins them during the Finance and Sustainment
Symposium hosted by USAFMCOM at the MG Emmett J. Bean Federal Center Nov. 7, 2023. The
medallion’s namesake served as Paymaster General of the Army from 1819 to 1854, and the Army
Finance Corps Association established the award in 1993 to recognize Soldiers and Army civilian
employees who demonstrate exemplary contribution and service to the Army Finance Corps.
