DI - 218 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

                   Failure phenomenon Phenomenon description
Ignition switch is in the "ON" gear, and the combination switch is set to "low beam" gear,
Two side low beam lamps not on
the low beam on both sides are not on.
              Diagnosis procedure
              1. Check the low beam fuse

              a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
              b. Open the body harness fuse box cover

              c. Remove left low beam fuse F37 (7.5A) and right low beam fuse F38 (7.5A).
                                                           Caution

Dismount the fuse with a special fuse remover. Do not pull it out directly with hands, which may
              damage the fuse.

                                                        d. Check if the fuse between left low beam F37 (7.5A) and
right low beam fuse F38 (7.5A) is burnt out.
                     Disconnect Normal

Check if the fuse is broken

Yes>replace with the same spec fuse
              NO>go to Step 2.
              2. Check the low beam relay

              a. Ignition switch:LOCK. LOCK.

              b. Disconnect the low beam relay R12 check the continuity with a multimeter.
                                                        c. Take a multimeter to measure the continuity of No. 30
and No. 87a terminal of low beam relay R12.
                                                        Standard resistance:

                                                             Storage battery voltage Standard value

Do not apply voltage on relay 85
                                                                                            About 0Ω
                                                                and Terminal 86
