DI - 324 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

Diagnosis procedure
1. Check the circuit from fuel sensor to combination instrument.

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Respectively disconnect thecombination instrument connectors B014and fuel sensor connectors F031.

c. Use a multimeter to respectively measure the resistance of
9# and 22# terminals of combination instrument connector
B014 and 2# and 3# terminals of fuel sensor connector
F031.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B014(9)-F031(2) About 0Ω

B014(22)-F031(3) About 0Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 2.
NO>repair or replace the harness.

2. Check the fuel sensor.

a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the fuel sensor connector F031.

c. Dismantle the fuel tank, respectively simulate the state of
fuel tank unloaded, half-loaded and fully-loaded, and use a
multimeter to measure the resistance between 1# and 2#
terminals of fuel sensor F031.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

F031(1)-F031(2) About 110Ω

F031(1)-F031(2) About 32.5Ω

F031(1)-F031(2) About 3Ω

Check if the result is ok?

Yes>go to Step 3.
No>Repair or replace fuel sensor.
