Component description IN
1. Urea pump assembly
DI
a. Post-treatment AdBlue injection unit of urea pump
assembly. The post-treatment AdBlue injection unit pumps
the AdBlue through the suction port and pressurizes it. The EG
filtration of post-treatment AdBlue injection unit is achieved
through the AdBlue to be sprayed into the exhaust system
TR
via the pressure hole.
b. The main components of the post-treatment AdBlue
AX
injection unit:
① Coolant connector
FR
② Post-treatment nozzle AdBlue connector
③ Compressed air supply connector
ST
④ Electrical connector of air stop valve
⑤ Electrical connector of post-treatment AdBlue injection unit
BR
⑥ Urea tank level and temperature sensor.
2. Catalytic and muffler assembly (EGP)
BW
a. Nozzle
The post-treatment injection unit supplies the correct amount
EL
of urea to the post-treatment nozzle. The post-treatment
nozzle sprays the AdBlue into the exhaust system.
b. SCR catalyst
The SCR catalyst mixes and converts urea to eliminate
unwanted gases and avoid emissions to the atmosphere. In
the exhaust stream, the SCR catalyst will require
temperature in excess of 200 ° C to properly convert
nitrogen oxides (NO x).
c. SCR intake air temperature sensor
The temperature sensor is part of the post-treatment system
and is used to monitor the temperature of the catalyst.
d. Nitrogen oxide sensor
NO x sensor is used to measure the nitrogen oxide discharge
of engine control and post-process system. With this
technical support, the vehicle manufacturers can meet the
strict global emission standards. The nitrogen oxide sensor
is a unitary device which consists of two parts. It is a small
module which is connected to the metal body of exhaust
system sensor with a piece of wire. Parts shall not be
separated NO x sensor not possible to repair. If the failure is
confirmed, replace the part.
