62-100 DIAGNOSIS-REVERSING RADAR

Diagnosis Procedure

• Take the diagnostic procedure right reversing radar detector for example, diagnosis of
other reversing radar detector probe with reversing radar detector.

1. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step 2.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the tailgate harness connector is
loosen and eroded.

2. Check the right reversing radar sensor

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the right reversing radar sensor connectors N06 .
(c). Change the right reversing radar sensor.
(d). Ignition switch:"ON".
(e). Hang into the reverse gear.

Do reversing radar sensor failures disappear?
Yes >Change the right reversing radar sensor.
No >Replace the body controller.
