DIAGNOSIS-REVERSING RADAR 62-97

Diagnosis Procedure

1. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the 62
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step 2.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the tailgate harness connector is
loosen and eroded.

2. Check the left reversing radar sensor

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the reversing radar left sensor connectors N01.
(c). Change the left reversing radar sensor.
(d). Ignition switch:"ON".
(e). Hang into the reverse gear.

Does reversing radar LIN communication failures disappear?
Yes >Change the reversing radar sensor.
No >To step 3.

3. Check the harness and the connector (left reversing radar sensor- body controller)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the reversing radar left sensor connectors N01.
(c). Disconnect the body controller connector C57.
